01 · Oil-Flooded Compressors
Standard Industrial Air
RM Series oil-flooded rotary screw compressors, 15–75 kW, are the dependable choice for general industrial air: workshops, production lines, packaging and plant utilities.
Every Next Generation RM compressor is built around an all-new airend with an optimised rotor profile. It improves efficiency by as much as 16% and delivers more airflow for the same power input, so you can specify a smaller machine and lower both your investment and your energy bill. IE3 and IE5 motors help save up to 12–30% on energy costs, and a Luminance controller keeps you informed from anywhere.

Sierra® (37–150 kW) and Nirvana™ (37–160 kW) oil-free screw compressors deliver ISO 8573-1:2010 Class 0 air, for processes where a trace of oil is a risk to product, people or brand.
Ingersoll Rand built the world’s first oil-free centrifugal air compressor in 1912, and was the first manufacturer whose oil-free screw and centrifugal compressors both passed TÜV Rheinland testing to Class 0. UltraCoat™ rotor coating, a two-stage compression module and a three-seal system keep the air oil-free, and the units run continuously in ambient temperatures up to 46 °C.
Nirvana™ oil-free VSD
Nirvana™ VSD
Real variable-speed drive with a hybrid permanent magnet (HPM) motor: no bearings or wear parts in the motor, soft start below rated current, and at least 30% energy saving over conventional fixed-speed oil-free compressors.
UltraCoat™
A molybdenum disulfide (MoS₂) resin coating on rotors and housings. It lasts longer than other coatings and reduces airend energy consumption by 10%.
Built for Asia
Designed for hot, humid conditions. Air-cooled units run continuously up to 46 °C, water-cooled units accept inlet water up to 46 °C, and the cooler approach temperature reaches 8–10 °C.
Key features
Two-stage screw compression module with cast iron housing and synchronous gear drive
Stainless steel second-stage rotor and stainless/aluminium alloy intercooler piping, resistant to condensate corrosion
Thrust bearings replace the balance piston, so dust and contaminants cannot seize the airend
Three-seal system (air seal, labyrinth seal, oil-draining seal) with spacer rings open to atmosphere, so oil never reaches the compression chamber
High-efficiency hydraulic inlet valve with combined inlet and vent valve; no pneumatic elements to replace
Nirvana™ three-tube parallel cooler and independent variable-frequency fan for stable cooling and lower noise
Backlit LCD touch-button controller with self-diagnosis, local, remote and interlock modes. LE controller on IRN55–75, XE controller on other models

Moisture and contaminants in compressed air cause rust, scaling and clogged pipes, and can lead to product damage or shutdown.
Ingersoll Rand has a vast range of air treatment equipment, whether you need a refrigerated, subfreezing, desiccant, heatless or heated drying system. Dryers are designed as a companion to your compressor, improving air quality, productivity and efficiency. Match the dryer to the dew point you need.
Dryers and filters
Clean, dry air for most industrial uses
Refrigerated Dryers
Cycling and non-cycling models for compressed air where moisture or contamination could corrode systems or damage air-powered tools.
Cycling: D-EC for lower energy use and cost of ownership, the larger DA Series, and a high-pressure model for demanding uses such as PET applications
Nirvana range in varying cfm, including a large-capacity system with an insulated thermal mass and submerged evaporator holding a cold propylene glycol-water well, for continuous ISO Class 4 air at a 38 °F dew point
Non-cycling: a variety of models to suit your industry and standards
SF subfreezing: 212–247 cfm (360–420 m³/hr), ideal where piping or pneumatic equipment sees subfreezing temperatures
Pressure dew point as low as 3 °C (38 °F), ISO Class 4
Very low dew point, heated or heatless
Desiccant Dryers
For critical applications that need very low dew points and protection from freezing.
Heated: externally heated and heated-blower models give −40 °C pressure dew point air, with pre-filter and after-filter stages protecting the desiccant and downstream air from oil and particulates
Heatless: compact, modular, fully integrated units installed at the point of use, so you only dry the air you need. ISO Class 2 dew point, with an ISO Class 1 option to avoid corrosion and moisture losses
Reliable −40 °C (−40 °F) pressure dew point under most operating conditions
Low pressure drop and microprocessor control
Continuous −40 °C dew points
Heat of Compression (HOC) Dryers
Dual-tower desiccant dryers in three variations, the most energy-efficient design available for oil-free applications. They recover heat that is a by-product of compression to offset virtually all electricity costs.
H-Series and HC-Series, 677–15,000 scfm
No heaters or blowers: only the controller uses power
Reliable −40 °F (−40 °C) pressure dew point under all load conditions (HC-Series)
IRDR compression-heating rotary dryers supply continuous dry air with a single drying tower and no purge air, helping the plant cut carbon emissions and operating cost.
Zero air consumption and micro power consumption
Smooth air flow, small pressure loss and low dew point
No electro-pneumatic switching valves or wearing parts

Heat of compression dryers for continuous −40 °C dew points
Heat-of-compression (HOC) dryers feature dual-tower, desiccant design with the most energy-efficient design available for oil-free applications. They recover the heat that is a natural by-product of compression to offset virtually all electricity costs other than operating the controller, less than 24 watts, or the cost of powering a light bulb.
H-Series
Instrument air quality at a very low initial cost. Air enters directly from the compressor and the heat of compression regenerates the desiccant tower. Delivers dew points from 0 °F (−18 °C) to −60 °F (−51 °C), depending on operating conditions.
HC-Series
A more sophisticated dryer with stripping and cooling cycles that deliver a constant dew point, without temperature or dew point spikes. Continuous −40 °F (−40 °C) pressure dew point under all load conditions. Can be fitted with a dew point demand controller.
Ultimate energy efficiency: uses heat already generated by compression, making it the most energy-efficient type of desiccant dryer on the market
High-quality clean, dry air: the unique stripping and cooling cycles deliver continuous −40 °F (−40 °C) pressure dew point air under all load conditions
Flexible design: H-Series dryers can be installed with multiple compressors, with no loss of compressed air system integrity
Smart control: microprocessor-based control maintains performance and monitors the health of the unit, maximising uptime
Reliable: proven high-performance two-way valves provide years of trouble-free operation
Safe: non-acidic desiccant, no ozone-depleting refrigerants and insulated towers that protect operators from hot surfaces
At INNEOVA, we ensure parts availability for original Ingersoll Rand parts and accessories to optimise total cost of ownership and maximise uptime for your compressor.
